Seeding after core aeration will help to fill areas of the lawn which have been affected by disease. insects or heat and water stress. Seeding the lawn will help to fill in thinning areas and improve the lawns appearance and health.

Slice Seeding
Slice seeding begins with equipment called a slice seeder. This machine slices (cuts) into the soil with steel blades creating long narrow trenches made in the ground otherwise know as furrows. It delivers the grass seed into the furrows.
Slice seeding puts the seed firmly into the channel made by the machine directly in contact with the soil, this method is more effective than spreading the grass seed by hand manually.
